It seems as though there are instructions now, to go with the pictures. If you haven't received the email, please take note of the following.
1) Do not cut your fabric before you come
2) Make sure to Iron the fabric so it is ready to cut
3) If you have any scraps you would like to include, bring them, just make sure the are at least 4 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 (minimum size)
4) 1 fat quarter (18 inches x 22 inches) of a dark blue fabric for the corner of the flag. It should be something that goes with the theme (maybe with stars or something patriotic, but mostly blue).
5) Remember small prints!
6) Each person will need 5 fat quarters (or 1/4 yard cuts) of BOTH RED AND CREAM fabrics.
Make sure each person brings something different if you can. This is what gives the quilt the
movement!
7) The reds should be light to dark and the cream from light to tan.

I'm not sure when the measurements will be added, or when we will know how much fabric to purchase. But, you can bet that even though we will be mixing the fabrics to get the "wave" affect, we will need enough fabric to finish the quilt. So, plan on getting at least 1 yard of red and 1 yard of cream. Make sure they are a variety of fabrics... so a fat quarter of 4 different fabrics might be a good idea. That way when we mix them up and divide them out, we will all end up with enough fabric to sew a complete flag quilt.
Laura, Teri, and I will be there to help. That way, we can all be guaranteed a finished quilt to go home with.
Please bring your quilt, or quilt top, from the last get together. Or, if you have made something since the last time and you want to show it, we love Show and Tell... it is a time to get ideas, get encouragement, and give praise.
Keep an eye here for more details. We should have some soon.
1) What time and date
2) Do we bring anything for snacks
3) What do we need to bring for sewing
4) any anything else that might come to mind before we meet.
